When highways become runways..!

So there it goes,ya are dreaded after a long day at work and you hear the rum-drum of an aircraft at some distance,nothing out of ordinary yes,but it get closer and closer ..so close that WHHOPPS it finally lands right in front of yr automobile!
I am talking about that vintage cessna World War 2 aircraft that made an emergency landing at a Wisconsin ,USA highway.,the aircraft was on it's way to an air show and a drag in it's hydraullics forced the pilot to land ,not on the runway or an airport but on a highway,the GMC that happened to be right behind the aircraft had a close shave.
Strange times indeed....wish I was the one in that GMC though.So next time you peek around the corner for a maneouver,on't be surprised to hear an aviator engine drone..!

SEVERUS SNAPE-Innocent until proven guilty ..or is it?!

He has a fan site devoted to his unconventional fashionista sense,he has a 2000 strong army on itrustsnape.com ,older laies are fascinated by the classic Alan Rickman,he was several podcast entities in his name,yes,I am referring to the man with the albino complexion,the mysterius fabled prof of the dark arts -Professor Severus Snape.
It's not old adage that we have always been fascinated with vilians,we are fascinated by the occult ,by vampires but few villians have garnered affection of collosal number of fans as that of Severus Snape,the sinisterly attractive prof of Hogwarts.A whole new army of Snape defenders are born today with the release of the final book The Deathly Hallows.With the needle of suspicion sharp on Snape's head and the fact that major characters will be going to the Tomb,all wild speculation is rife and is spreading around faster than J,K Rowling's pulse!
If there is someone out there wondering how I think Snape will end up then here is my bit of mind,I o NOT think that Snape is in league with Voldemort and no..no just if you are wondering whether I am a member of www.itrustsnape.com then no I am not.
He is in fact sharper in wit and wisdom than anybody else in Hogwarts and Voldemort,look how he slithers out of Dumbledore's murder .He also knows that Voldemort will never take him back ,thanks to many tasks he did that earned his wrath,I believe he is Dumbledore's ally no doubt and will do nothing to forsake him,he has his own bitter memories to contend with an he is playing role of a double-agent in the wizarding war,there just have to be million reasons as to why Dumbledore trusted him so much...we shouldn't forget Dumbledore saw through any sticky character an shoo-ed him/her off a broomsticks distance away.
Relax,Harry Potter purists ,shhhh...."the book whose ending should not be spoiled" will be maintained.

The wait has finally come to an end...ya can finally dispose that strike-off calendar that ya used for the countdown and manicure yr nails back again since yr chewing thanks to the wait has ..should I say..mercifully come to an end !
Yup,the DEATHLY HALLOWS is out and Harry is top in the list to die as well another major chracter will got to the Tomb.My best bet is...whops sorry no spoilers yet ,but I guess it has to be one of the trio ,Malfoy will definately be one of Voldemorts ranks but I have no doubt that he WILL NOT be the one to disarm Harry.It had to be a powerful death eater or who knows Malfoy and dad are rotting in Azkaban altogether! It's true Hogwarts is a void without Dumbledore an what bout Snape? Tell ya what,,,,more than Harry,I am eager to check what happens to Snape?Is he a death eater or not?Where will HE end up? What will come off of voldemort,what will happen to Hogwarts or what will happen to the wizarding world altogether !!!

Well....I will definately read the book ,in paper or virtual, but one thing is sure ,if we thought Hogwarts was a void without Dumbledore,then we better down gallons of Veritaserum and say that WE ARE BRAVE ENOUGH TO FACE UP TO HARRY'S DEATH!

We all have grown-up with constant cajoling by our mums/dads who fight an armageddon battle every night,coercing us to swallow down that squiggly,wiggly broccoli and gallons of milk,but we always see a reason fit enough and would prefer fight battles rather than gulp own our despicable blues with food.
I learned this a hard way today,after downing 2 manogoes everyday thanks to the luscious season going on here, a 'warning' heat ulcer that appeared in my oral cavity.As a garnish to this,I landed up with nausea and fever too,thanks to NOT the mangoes but soo many thoughts snaking through my mind,every morning nowadays seems to begin with one question: "What will it bring today,Sunshine or Rain?" ,I stare at the morning sun an assure my guts that the thing I am aiming for next month WILL come through,I have enough prayers addresse to it an believe it will come through,but yet I seem so close yet so far.....
But first I nee to take full accountability to my health,right now there are vials of medication besides me and that paracetamol will come in handy, but more than that,vials of motivation and faith n 'positive feelings need to be injected in me....I have my trusted buddy for that,...Mum.

Air Crash : Fatal blue

TAM airlines-Brazil crash,short runway,aircraft clears airport fence,rams into a fuel station,collossal inferno,189 dead,4 bodie recovered,charred beyond recognititon,deaths on ground as well,toll slated to rise....."

Sheesh....they say that yr chances of dying from influemza are three fold higher than dying due to an aircrash,but taking into view all current crashes that have wipped millions of lives away from the globe,we are despondent to re-consider that little snippet of trivia,which no longer can be ignored.Being a consistent air traveller myself ,I can't help but shudder,as I sit in my seat,what awaits the time after take-off and taxii to the terminal at my destination,a slight shudder below in the cargo hold can give me shudders,a tech malfunction delay will wreck anybody's nerves nowadays ,not due to dealy of time etc,but due to fear of life ,a swipe my hand across the undersection of my seat to ensure that life jacket is there,to ensure my life in an emergency water -landing,you can't help but say a small prayer as the aircraft taxii's to the runway for take-off and a little offbeat sound during take-off will make your imagination run amok by thinking of a million ways you could die in that cabin,.....I just hope I don't have or will never have to type a farewell message for to my family ,crumpled up in twisted metal or in midst of wrecked nerves in that cabin.......
Whoever says "Flying gives you the blues",,,,,Influenza....think again!!

Nostalgia.....

Quite Nostalgic day today,with what started off as a not-s-offbeat day ended up with trips down the memory lane,can't help but wonder as I passed through the neurotransmitter explosion in my brain due to my muddled thoughts,wondered that what's the point of it all?What you may ask? Whats the frenzy an the rat race with earning green-backs and superiorty complexes that infest human character? I reminescence of my splendid moments in my home country an all the wonderful times I spent there with my pals........anyways don't wanna bore anyone reading with the hardcore melancholy,there is something I have been working hard for,just pray that its in the bag frndz!!

USA Travel ......the endless synchronization..

Frantic travel arrangements to USA regarding my GYLC conference attendance.With the endless synchronization and dizzying array of dept/arrival schedule packed close so that I don't even have time for a shut-eye, I will be disoriented( not that I am not now) and jet-lagged by the time I land there......return ..hmm...I will worry bout it later.



Dallas or DC airport?? Thats the questions that was asked more often than my heart rate ,A puzzled ( which resulted in several tufts of my hair pulled out ) resulted to the questioner.After what seemed like a loooong rendezvous with the ticketing dept,even the baby turtle in my fish tank traversed the whole diametre of the tank,I finally got a confirmed booking.
They say the world is a global village......I wonder *phew*!
